Earthlings Around the World

In three weeks -- just three short weeks -- we mobilized thousands of activists, in 41 cities and 17 countries.

When people say that the animal rights movement is too small, or too weak, or too afraid, I ask them to look around them, all over the world, at the strong activists mobilizing everywhere from Santiago to Stuttgart. We are already far stronger than the gay liberation movement in 1969 (the year of the Stonewall Riots). Far stronger than the civil rights movement in 1955. Far stronger than the women's rights movement in 1903

There is latent energy out there, waiting to be realized. We are tired of apologizing, of begging, and of pretending that atrocities are not being committed. And when we come together for animal liberation, as we did on August 24, we can achieve great things.

Here are images from the march. Please contact us if you have an image you'd like us to add from your city. And keep fighting the good fight!
