Speak for the turkeys this holiday season!

When: Sunday, November 22nd 2026 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Where: 801 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92103 Every year, approximately 40 million turkeys are killed for Thanksgiving. Forty million individuals, each with a personality, a social world, and a will to live, gone for a meal that lasts about 15 minutes. The weekend before Thanksgiving, join us as we take to the streets to honor their lives, expose the truth behind “humane” labels, and show our community that no animal deserves to die for a holiday table. “Humane washing” is marketing designed to ease our conscience, not to protect the animals. The reality behind the label is the same. The holidays are the hardest time of year to be an activist. We watch the world celebrate with the very beings we are fighting for. But we don’t have to carry that alone. Come stand with us, bring your voice, and be the reason someone rethinks their plate this year. --------------------------------------------- Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) is a grassroots network of animal rights activists. Through open rescue, demonstration, and disruption, we help build a world where every animal is safe, happy and free. DxE cultivates a welcoming and supportive community. We ask that all those who attend our events (online and offline) respect our Code of Conduct which can be reviewed at dxe.io/conduct
