Direct Action Everywhere primarily focuses on animals who are exploited for food, with our flagship campaign, It's Not Food, It's Violence. In particular, we have focused on Chipotle and Whole Foods, two companies that market themselves as progressive while profiting off of the tortured bodies of animals. Be it Chipotle, Whole Foods, or any other company, the target of our It's Not Food, It's Violence campaign is the very idea that killing and exploitation could ever be made humane.

We also bring an anti-speciesist, total animal liberation message to other areas of animal exploitation. In the Bay Area, our Not Ours to Use Campaign focuses on university research centers that uses animal experimentation.
