The front page of Chipotle's website today has a wonderful description of their "responsibly raised" dairy cows who have "access" to pastures. What they don't tell you is that "access" often means something as trivial as a window in a dark and miserable industrial shed, and that their definition of "responsible" includes cruel branding, kidnapping of calves, and, ultimately, brutal slaughter for mothers and children alike.
Don't buy the corporate propaganda. Fight for liberation. Not consumerism.
