Animal Rights News Recap 9/15/2017

DxE investigators rescued Sophie from a supposedly "free-range" Mary's Chicken farm supplying to Whole Foods, and they exposed the truth to the world: these birds were crammed into dark, filthy barns and they never stepped outside.


In response to the FBI raids at sanctuaries in their search Lily, a piglet DxE rescued from a Smithfield farm, activists gathered at the Utah farm to hold a vigil for Lily and all the animals who were not saved, and to unite against activist repression.


DxE Berlin used eye contact with animals in an experimental demonstration to help people see that all animals feel pain.


California reinstated its ban on foie gras!
